The Greek NPO LIMANI has the mission of fighting against financial and social exclusion of families in need. Since April 2013 it supports PRAKSIS and the program ΣΥΝ ΣΤΟ ΠΛΗΝ, by adopting on a monthly basis selected single parent and nucleus families from the area of Piraeus, which are unable to meet their basic needs. In this way, these families were incorporated in a holistic program and managed to recap.
Furthermore, since April 2014 NPO LIMANI actively supports the Pediatric Unit of the Athens Polyclinic on a monthly basis, offering vaccinations to the children of its visitors, a significant support and help to their parents who cannot access the health system but need to protect their children.
In December 2017, NPO LIMANI instead of Christmas cards supported PRAKSIS’ programs and more specifically the program ΣΥΝ στο ΠΛΗΝ, by offering monetary donation. Through the kind donation of Limani, the room that hosts the extension of the lending library at PRAKSIS’ Day Center for the Homeless was refurbished and equipped.
