The organization BOROUME fights the waste of surplus food and acts for its welfare use in the whole of Greece. Acting as a node of communication, it created bridges between food donors and the program ΣΥΝ ΣΤΟ ΠΛΗΝ, thus often resulting in the valuable support of the visitors of the Day Centers. BOROUME also supports PRAKSIS in all its programs, either by offering food to its beneficiaries, or through its corporate responsibility network, targeting donations of products other than food and promoting the actions of PRAKSIS. In this way BOROUME bridged companies such as EPSA, BOEHRINGER INGELHEIM, ΤΟΝΙΚΟ, FABRICA DE VINO, FRESH HOTEL, CARPO, ALPICO FRIDGES as well as sectors such as ASOEE (University of Economics), the Acropolis Museum, the 3rd Primary School of Aharnes, the Association of Polytechnic Students and many others, so as their invaluable support to reach PRAKSIS structures.
In November 2016, through the kind mediation of the NGO BOROUME and for the alimentation needs of the Day Center’s beneficiaries the Vezene restaurant offered 80 portions of food, Hotel Athinais 10 portions, Electra Palace 15 portions and Antonopoulos restaurant 25 portions of food.
Moreover, in November 2016 the NGO BOROYME supported the beneficiaries of the Day Center for the Homeless, by offering 1 bag of baby diapers, 1 bag of clothes, 1 bag of kids’ clothes as well as 2 bags of packs of baby milk.
In December 2016, through the kind mediation of the NGO BOROUME for the support of the Day Center’s beneficiaries, Vezene Restaurant offered 80 portions of food, the company La Chocolatiere offered 30 portions of food, the Hotel Athinais 175 portions of food, Antonopoulos restaurant 165 portions and Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens 30 portions of food. Moreover, through the kind mediation of the NGO BOROYME YOLENI’S company offered 10 bags of vegetables and BOO Productions company offered portions of food for the needs of the Day Center’s beneficiaries.
In January 2017 through the kind mediation of the NGO BOROUME Antonopoulos restaurant offered for the needs of the Day Center’s beneficiaries 190 portions of food, Vezene restaurant offered 860 portions of food, Hotel Athinais 170 portions and Radisson Blu Park Hotel 30 portions of food. Also, through the NGO BOROUME THE BOO Productions company offered portions of food for the support of the Day Center’s beneficiaries, NEFOOD company offered 20 portions of food and the Panathenaic Stadium 77 cheese pies, 90 yogurts and 10 kilos of tangerines.
In February 2017 through the kind mediation of the NGO BOROUME Nefood company supported the Day Center for the Homeless, by offering portions of food to the visitors of the Day Center for the Homeless in Athens. Also, in February 2017 through the kind mediation of the NGO BOROUME Hotel Athinais offered 115 portions of food, KYADA offered 480 portions, the company “Odos Kassandras” 300 portions of sweet, Antonopoulos restaurant 25 portions of food, Fabrica de Vino 6 portions, the 20th kindgarden of the municipality of Zografos, 100 portions and 20 portions of sweet and 25 sandwitches the researh center of human behaviors ΚΕΑΣ, the portions were allotted for the support of the visitors of PRAKSIS’ Day Center’s for the Homeless in Athens.
In March 2017, through the kind mediation of the NGO BOROUME for the support of the visitors of the Day Center in Athens BEBEKA restaurant offered 30 portions of food, Hotel Athinais offered 240 portions of food, Argyro Zanioti bakery offered 35 kilos of bread, Antonopoulos restaurant offered 330 portions of food, Radisson Blu Park Hotel offered 50 portions of food, Panathenaic Stadium offered 110 portions of food and 5 kg of oranges, Eurobank offered 80 portions of food and 80 portions of sweet and the Fresh pastry shop 30 sweet portions.
In April 2017 through the kind mediation of the NGO BOROUME for the support of the Day Center’s visitors, Hotel Athinais offered 115 portions of food the Radisson Blu Park Hotel offered 118 sandwitches, Fresh Pastry Shop offered 151 sweet portions and birthday cakes (5.700gr), the NGO Organization Earth offered 30 portions of rice, Argiro Zanioti bakery offered 25 kilos of bread, Kefalas bakery 49 kilos of bread and Antonopoulos restaurant 105 portions of food.

In August 2017, through the kind mediation of the NGO BOROUME and for the support of the people that are served by PRAKSIS’ Day Center for the Homeless in Athens, the hotel Athinais offered 200 portions of food, 2 bags of snacks and juices and 1 bag of personal hygiene products, Kefala Bakery offered 140 kilos of bread and 6 bags of pastry items, the shop Loukoumades “Aigaion” offered 15 packs of flour, 2 boxes of mushrooms soups, 4 boxes of cheese pies, 1 box of milk pie, 2 packs of margarine, 3 bottles of olive oil, 4 packs of cacao, 1 pack of puff pastry and 2 boxes of crullers. Gregory’s shop offered 14 bags of pastry items, Fresh Pastry shops offered 9.615kgr of birthday cake, 87 units of sweets, 0.800kgr of chocolate trunk and 1 kilo of biscuits, the catering La Chocolatiere offered 75 portions of food, 360 degrees Athens Hotel offered 36 juices, the boutique hotel Saint George Lycabettus offered 130 portions of food, Antonopoulos Restaurant 25 portions of food and the company Carpo offered 1.574kgr dried fruits.
