In the context of its corporate social responsibility, DEPA undertakes actions that embrace the whole society, focusing on man and emphasizing on the most vulnerable social groups. The company’s goal is the amelioration of living conditions and a better quality of life for the vulnerable social groups, either through its own initiatives or through synergies. In this context, in December 2013 DEPA funded the Christmas party that PRAKSIS co-organized with the Association of Nigerian Women, for the children of vulnerable social groups.
Ιn March 2014, DEPA strengthened the operation of the Accommodation Center of Unaccompanied Minors Stegi (+), by providing furniture and food. Also, in May 2014, the company ensured for the families that participated in the «ΣΥΝ ΣΤΟ ΠΛΗΝ» program, free tickets for 250 children and their parents for the Athens Science Festival.
In March 2015, DEPA supported the Social Housing program, by offering to its beneficiaries 1 box of books. In addition, in April 2016 DEPA supported the “Emergency Interventions for the Refugees» program, by offering monetary donation to cover the expenses of the purchase and distribution of necessary products for the Refugee population.
