The winter period is very harsh for people who have recently found themselves in conditions of homelessness. In January 2013 the A.G. Leventis Foundation supported the ΣΥΝ ΣΤΟ ΠΛΗΝ program by offering “WINTER IN THE CITY SURVIVAL KIT” (every kit included a sleeping bag, a thermos bottle, a flashlight, isothermal underwear, hat, gloves and wool socks) to 225 Greeks who had recently became homeless with the aim to provide the minimum necessary in order for them to make it through the winter.
In July 2014 the foundation contributed to the inclusion of 4 more families to the ΣΥΝ ΣΤΟ ΠΛΗΝ program by covering their expenses for a six-month period.
In March 2015 the foundation financially supported PRAKSIS through the initiative “Seven Marathons, Seven Continents, Seven Contingencies”.
