Οι Surfers for Life είναι μια παρέα μικρών και μεγάλων παιδιών με όνειρα και φρέσκιες ιδέες για Προσφορά και Αλληλεγγύη. Αφετηρία της έναρξής τους, το όραμα ενός καρκινοπαθή να ενδυναμώσει όλους όσους εμπλέκονται με τον καρκίνο διασχίζοντας μια θάλασσα με το kite του. Το όραμα έγινε πράξη με τον 1o διάπλου του Ευβοικού 23 αθλητών με kites, ιστιοπλοικά, kayak και surf με σκοπό την οικονομική στήριξη ΜΚΟ που δίνουν μάχη με τον καρκίνο. Στόχος των Surfers4Life είναι η συνεισφορά με τρόπους ουσιαστικούς και θετικούς. Όνειρό τους είναι να γεμίσουν τον κόσμο με την θετική τους ενέργεια και να τον αφήσουν καλύτερο απ’ ό,τι τον παρέλαβαν.
Τον Μάρτιο και τον Απρίλιο του 2014, με την ευγενική διαμεσολάβηση του μη κερδοσκοπικού οργανισμού ΜΠΟΡΟΥΜΕ, η οργάνωση προσέφερε διακόσιες (200) μερίδες φαγητού για την κάλυψη των αναγκών των εξυπηρετούμενων του Κέντρου Ημερήσιας Υποδοχής Αστέγων στην Αθήνα.
Surfers for Life is a group of young and older children with dreams and fresh ideas for Donating and Solidarity. They began their work through the vision of a cancer patient who wanted to embolden all those who face cancer, by crossing the sea with his kite. His vision became a reality with the first crossing of the Evoikos sea by 23 athletes with kites, sailboats, kayaks and surfs, with the purpose of donating the proceeds to NGO’s fighting cancer. The goal of Surfers4Life is to contribute with substantial and positive methods. Their dream is to fill the world with their positive energy and to leave behind a world better than the one they were born in.
In March and April 2014, with the intervention of the NGO ΜΠΟΡΟΥΜΕ, the organisation produced 200 food meals for the needs of the people taken care in the Day Centre for the Homeless in Athens.
