Facing all the Facts
The six- country Facing all the Facts project held its third consultation workshop on hate crime recording and data collection in Athens on 9 October. Participants from the Racist Violence Recording Network, the police, the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Ministry of Justice learned about the key outcomes of the research and the impact of the Network in particular to make hate crime visible in Greece. Participants also worked together to map the gaps and strengths in Greece’s hate crime recording and data collection system. Recommendations to improve cooperation between public authorities and expert NGOs were agreed.
